When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and any profile details you provide (such as age, weight, height, and dietary preferences).
When you use our features — such as the AI Food Scanner, Diet Finder, Calorie Log, Water and Step Trackers, and the Audio Cooking Assistant — we collect the inputs you provide (photos, text, voice recordings, and health metrics you enter) as well as data generated by your activity (scans, logs, and preferences).
We also collect device and usage information, such as your device type, operating system, approximate location (derived from IP address), and how you interact with the app.
The App requests the following device permissions only when needed. Each permission has a specific, limited purpose tied to a feature you choose to use. We do not access permissions in the background or for unrelated purposes.
Used to take food photos for the AI Food Scanner and to scan recipes or food packaging in the Audio Cooking Assistant. Photos are processed to generate nutritional analysis and cooking guidance. The camera is only activated when you tap a photo-capture button and is never accessed in the background.
Used for voice input in the Audio Cooking Assistant (hands-free cooking questions and answers) and for voice-described food scanning. Recording starts only when you press the record/voice button and stops when you release it. Audio is transcribed to text for processing and is not used to identify you or for advertising.
Used so you can select an existing photo from your gallery for the food scanner, and to save settings, water/step counts, and calorie logs locally on your device. We do not read or modify files outside the images you explicitly select.
Used to send water-reminder alerts so you can meet your hydration goals. Notifications are scheduled at times you choose and can be turned off at any time from your device settings. We do not send advertising or marketing notifications.
Used by the Step Tracker to count your steps and estimate distance and calories burned. Step data is processed on-device and stored locally; it is not shared with third parties.
Used to upload your photos, text, and voice inputs to our AI services so we can return nutritional and cooking results. Without it, AI-powered features cannot function; basic local tracking (water, steps, calorie log) continues to work offline.
To provide and improve the app features you request, including AI-powered nutritional analysis, meal planning, and cooking guidance.
To maintain and secure your account, verify your identity, and manage your subscription.
To respond to your support requests and communicate with you about service updates.
To analyze usage trends to improve performance, reliability, and user experience.
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as necessary to operate the service — for example, with cloud hosting and AI model providers that process your inputs to generate nutritional and cooking insights.
We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or the safety of others.
Aggregated, de-identified data may be used for analytics and product improvement; such data cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
We use local storage and cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and store activity data such as water counts, step counts, and calorie logs on your device.
You can clear this data at any time through your browser or device settings; doing so may reset locally-tracked information.
Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence. By using the app, you consent to such transfers in accordance with this policy.
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted transmission and access controls.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may access, correct, or delete the profile and activity information stored in your account at any time through the in-app settings.
You may delete your account by contacting support; upon deletion, we will remove your personal data except where retention is required by law.
You may withdraw consent for optional data processing at any time, though some features may become unavailable as a result.
